Christy is an amazing local photographer I met relatively recently and we’ve discovered that not only do we get along famously, but we make a pretty good photography team. Something about our personalities feed off of each other and the resulting photographs we create get pretty crazy, interesting, exciting, <insert adjective here>.

We’re starting up regular joint shooting projects and we’re calling the team “The Amazing Adventures of Kinskey & Chow”. I drew the short straw for second billing obviously

Technically our first shoot together was actually the film neo-noir stuff I posted up a few weeks ago, but we formally decided to “brand” ourselves this past weekend so our official first shoot together was a macro shoot we setup last Saturday. We came up with the idea to do a macro shoot based on miniature figures. A quick trip to Archie McPhee in Ballard combined with my tripod and Canon 60/2.8 macro lens resulted in these shots:
