About Me

…me

I’m a native of Canada, born and raised in a suburb of Vancouver. My family taught me the value of a hard work, a sharp wit and why it’s always important to keep your eye on the last slice of apple pie. My day dreams consist of coffee, photography, golf and hot dogs. I’ve been living in Seattle since 2001 working on a variety of products, most recently as a Lead Program Manager at Microsoft changing how software is sold online world through Windows Marketplace.

…my photography

Aside from technology, my other passion in life is photography which I pursue relentlessly when I’m able to shake my corporate shackles.   I work as a fine art photographer covering primarily low light and urban landscapes.  I have recently become fascinated with portraiture and strobist photography which I’ll be spending the next 6 months studying.

I shoot with a Canon 30D with my favorite lenses being my 50/1.4 and 17-55/2.8. My portfolio can be seen at http://www.twenty01photo.com where you can browse through the photos I chose from literaly thousands of photos I took from places as close as my local neighborhood to as far away as India and the Czech Republic.

…this site

I started blogging 2 years ago covering mostly issues about work, but over time, my blog has evolved into a digital representation of “me” in a reasonably complete picture. You’ll glean an insight into my personal and professional life, as well as follow what I find interesting or just plain whacky.
