Joint self-portrait taken by me and Rob at the UW parking garage.  Used Rob’s camera with the self-timer to create this superhero stunner.

  • Rob did the actual post-processing on it and it's basically a heavy use on the "clarity" slider in Lightrooom along with a boosting of contrast. No other post-process other than that. The exaggeration of our features is due to the use of a ultra-wide angle lens.

The lighting setup was simple -- 2 bare strobes on camera left and right, both at equal power pointing towards the center to get the extreme shadows of each of use while "spot-lighting" the middle of the frame.
  • Dude, that's a wicked crazy awesome photo. How did you set it up camera- and lighting-wise, and how much if any digital manipulation was done? Nice one!
